I'm a father with a cybersecurity background. When I went looking for an app to know where my kids were, I found dozens of options — and I didn't fully trust a single one. They monetized location data, ran opaque backend servers, or buried tracking in ad-tech SDKs.

So I built it. HaloPath is zero-telemetry, end-to-end encrypted, and the software never possesses your location keys.

Open HaloPath
Add a child profile on the parent device. HaloPath generates a time-limited, encrypted QR code that expires in 15 minutes.
Scan on Child's Device
The child (or parent) scans the QR code on the child's iPhone or Apple Watch. A clear, transparent authorization screen explains exactly what will be shared.
That's It
Route history starts flowing to the parent dashboard via encrypted CloudKit. The child's device confirms: "HaloPath is sharing your route history with Dad."

HaloPath has no servers. Zero. All data flows exclusively through Apple's CloudKit private containers. Your location data never touches infrastructure we control.
🔐 E2E Encryption
Every waypoint, geofence, and child profile is stored using CloudKit encryptedValues. The encryption keys live in your iCloud Keychain. We never possess them.
🚫 Zero Telemetry
No analytics SDKs. No crash reporting frameworks. No ad networks. No Firebase. No Amplitude. Nothing. The binary is clean.
🍎 Apple-Native Only
CoreLocation, CloudKit, WatchConnectivity, FamilyControls. Every framework is Apple-native. No third-party dependencies that could introduce supply-chain risk.
